Social Welfare Society Organizes Blood

Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha /Dec.2 : The Social Welfare Society (Registered), Garhshankar, organized a blood donation camp at a private hospital in Garhshankar to honor the martyrs on the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji. This event also paid tribute to the sacrifices of Bhai Mati Dass, Bhai Sati Dass, Bhai Diala Ji, and Bhai Uday Singh Ji, Jaita Ji, and Jamala Singh Nanuwa, who brought the head of Guru Teg Bahadur Ji from Chandni Chowk, Delhi.Inauguration and Distinguished GuestsThe camp was jointly inaugurated by Harpal Singh Johal, member of the Takht Board of Shri Harmandir Patna Sahib, and Rajinder Singh Nanuwa. Special guests included Kanwar Arora (Immigration businessman), former President of Bar Association Garhshankar Pankaj Kripal, social worker Jasveer Singh Jassi Purkhowal, and Rajinder Prasad Soni, President of Rotary Club Garhshankar, along with other prominent dignitaries.Tributes to the Supreme SacrificeHarpal Singh Johal remarked that Shri Guru Teg Bahadur gave up his life to protect the honor of the Hindu community and human rights. The Social Welfare Society, under the leadership of its President Harmail Singh Saini and team members, enthusiastically organized this blood donation camp to pay homage to the martyrs.Rajinder Singh Nanuwa, President of Saini Bhawan Ropar and a descendant of martyr Jamala Singh Nanuwa, highlighted the importance of this event, saying, “Our Gurus made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of religion and human rights. This blood donation camp dedicated to these martyrs is a highly commendable initiative.”Blood Donation and RecognitionA total of 45 units of blood were voluntarily donated at the camp. The collected blood was handled by the technical teams of Sant Gurmail Singh Memorial Hospital and Blood Bank, Garhii Kanungo, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar.Donors were honored by the organizers to acknowledge their selfless contributions.Community ParticipationThe event saw participation from prominent social workers and community leaders including J.P.
