Tribute ceremony held for Mata

Hoshiarpur /Daljeet Ajnoha/March 31 : Chairman of Rayat Educational and Research Trust Sh. Nirmal Singh Rayat,’s respected mother Mohinder Kaur Rayat passed away on 24th March 2025, completing her distinguished worldly journey. For her spiritual peace, the entire Rayat family offered prayers for the peace in the presence of Gurbani and Path Parkash in her native village, Siana (Balachaur) and a group of Ragi Jatha performed a devout kirtan to pray for the peace of the departed soul. On this occasion, various speakers in the tribute ceremony including Mr. Ajit Ram, social leader, Dr. Sandeep Singh Kaura, Chancellor LTSU Punjab and Advisor NSDC Government of India, Advocate RP Singh Chaudhary, Mr. Ashok Kataria, Senior AAP Leader, Mr. Avinash Rai Khanna, former MP and senior leader BJP, paid tribute to Mata Mohinder Kaur Rayat and appreciated the contribution made by the Rayat family in the field of education and said that the educational institutions run by them are gaining fame not only in Punjab or India but also at the international level. MLA Balachaur constituency Mrs. Santosh Kataria also reached on this occasion and expressed sympathy and condolences to the Rayat family. Dr. Sandeep Singh Kaura Chancellor LTSU Punjab thanked all the relatives, friends, intellectuals, social leaders, political leaders on behalf of the family for their support in this hour of grief. On this occasion, the family members included Mr. N. S. Rayat , Balwant Singh Rayat , Hardeep Singh Rayat , Mr. Hari Singh, and Mr. Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chancellor RBU, and in addition Prof. B. S. Satyal, Satbir Singh Bajwa Joint Registrar, Prof. Narinder Bhumbla and relatives of the Rayat family, social leaders, politicians and intellectuals from all over Punjab were present. The entire Sangat present on the occasion expressed their deep condolences to the Rayat family.
