Party Meeting Held in Village Chadhial
Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/August 6 mn:
Shiromani Akali Dal’s urban president Jatinder Singh Lali Bajwa stated that under the leadership of Sukhbir Singh Badal, the party is set to make a strong comeback in Punjab. He said that the people of Punjab have realized that no other political party can truly represent the interests of the state except their own regional party, the Akali Dal.
He was addressing a meeting of party leaders and workers held at the residence of Daljinder Singh Dhami in village Chadhial. On this occasion, Sandeep Singh Seekri, in-charge of Sham Chaurasi assembly constituency, was also specially present.
Lali Bajwa said that the development work carried out during the Akali Dal government is still remembered by the people, and now the public has made up its mind to bring Akali Dal back to power in 2027.
Criticizing the Aam Aadmi Party, he said, “Before coming to power, AAP had promised to give ₹1000 per month to women, but even after three years, not a single rupee has been deposited in any woman’s account. Similarly, they had promised employment to every household, but the reality is that instead of government jobs, the youth are being forced to migrate abroad in search of employment, which reflects the failure of the government’s policies.”
He further added that the current Punjab government wants to destroy the state’s fertile land through its land pooling policy, which is a serious threat to Punjab’s economy. He declared that the Akali Dal will continue to oppose this policy until the government withdraws it.
Among those present on the occasion were Barinder Singh Parmar, Gurpal Singh Lachowal, Bhupinder Singh Mehandipur, Gurbachan Singh, Jaswinder Singh, Ashok Kumar, Balbir Singh Johal, Dev Raj, Harjinder Singh, and a large number of local villagers.
