Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/July 14 : The 86th annual memorial (barsi) of Brahmleen Sant Baba Bhagat Ram Ji was observed with deep devotion and reverence at Dera Baba Bhagat Ram Ji in village Nangal Khuga, District Hoshiarpur. The event was led by the present spiritual head, Sant Baba Naresh Gir Ji, with the support of the entire sangat.
The ceremonies began with the conclusion of the continuous recitation of Shri Akhand Path Sahib. Following this, kirtani jathas, religious narrators (katha vachaks), and revered saints uplifted the gathered devotees through devotional hymns, discourses, and spiritual insights.
On this special occasion, Dr. Daljeet Ajnoha was honoured by the Dera under the guidance of Sant Baba Naresh Gir Ji for being awarded a Ph.D. and D.Litt. (Journalism) degree. This recognition highlighted his academic achievements and contributions to the field.
Speaking at the event, Sant Baba Naresh Gir Ji emphasized the importance of living a righteous life by following the teachings of the Guru and engaging in regular remembrance (simran) of God. He said that doing so not only removes obstacles from life but also fills it with joy and peace.
Several dignitaries and devotees were honoured during the gathering, including Balwant Shah, Dr. Jarnail Ram from Mahilpur, Paraminder Singh from Halluwal, Advocate Lovepreet Singh, along with many sewadars of the Dera who were present in large numbers.
The entire ceremony reflected the Dera’s spiritual atmosphere, filled with love, devotion, and the blessings of the divine.
