Vancouver (Canada) / Daljeet Ajnoha/July 15 : A grand cultural event titled “Mela Punjaban Da” was organized in Vancouver, showcasing the vibrant spirit of Punjabi folk dance Bhangra. The event was hosted by Sabi Aulakh, Shahbaz Entertainer, and Kohinoor Folk Arts Club.
Participants from various cities across Canada — children, young girls, and youth — delivered electrifying Bhangra performances that captivated the audience and had everyone dancing along. As the beats of the dhol echoed and traditional instruments filled the air, the energy and passion of the performers took Bhangra to new heights.
Smiling faces, thunderous footwork, and vibrant attire reflected the hard work and dedication of the participants, making it clear they had practiced tirelessly.
