Chandigarh/July 18/Daljeet Ajnoha : In an insightful conversation with senior journalist Sanjiv Kumar, Mr. Vivek Verma, Chairman of Spray Engineering Devices Limited (SEDL), shared his visionary outlook on transforming the agricultural and industrial landscape through sustainable practices.
Mr. Verma emphasized that farmers’ income has the potential to grow not just two times, but up to ten times, provided their entire crop residue is scientifically and commercially utilized. “There is immense hidden value in agricultural waste. If harnessed properly, it can revolutionize rural economics,” he stated.
He further highlighted the urgent need for industrial units to adopt efficient waste water treatment systems, underlining the responsibility of industries towards the environment. “Water is life, and industries must respect it. Recycling and treating waste water isn’t just an obligation—it’s the future of sustainable industry.”
Vivek Verma also reiterated SEDL’s commitment to the ‘Waste to Wealth’ mission, where agricultural byproducts and industrial waste are converted into energy, resources, and income-generating opportunities.
