Officials directed to expedite rural development works; Deputy Speaker reiterates Punjab Government’s commitment to fulfilling promises
**Hoshiarpur/Oct 24/Daljeet Ajnoha — Punjab Vidhan Sabha Deputy Speaker and MLA from Garhshankar constituency Jai Krishan Singh Rouri today held a special meeting with representatives of various panchayats in the region.The meeting was attended by sarpanches, panches, and representatives from villages including Mukandpur, Majara Digrian, Kot Rajputan, Mahidwani, Nazarpur, Sauli, Parshotan, Badesron, Birampur, Purkhowal, Thana, Mansowal, Jhonowal, Pensra, Padrana, Noorpur Jattan, Aiman Muglan, Seehwan, Jeevanpur Jattan, Mahidwani Gujjaran, Aiman Jattan, Harwan, Lallian, Chakk Rotan, Kalewal (Beet), Nainwan, Dadiyal, Gaddiwal, Dohlron, Bhamiya, Kithna, Fatehpur Khurd, Maira, Nanglan Pandori Beet, and Meghowal among others.During the session, Rouri held detailed discussions on long-pending development works in rural areas and directed departmental officials to ensure their timely completion. Emphasizing the government’s commitment to people’s welfare, he said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is dedicated to fulfilling every promise made to the public.Rouri stated that the development of the region remains his top priority and that every village will be guided on the path of progress. He also thanked Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann for his visionary leadership, adding that Punjab is moving steadily on a new path of growth because of his progressive and people-centric policies.
