Vigilance Bureau Holds Seminar on ‘

Hoshiarpur/Oct.29 /Daljeet Ajnoha : As part of Vigilance Awareness Week, the Vigilance Bureau Unit, Hoshiarpur, organised a seminar at Babbar Akali Memorial Khalsa College, Garhshankar, on the theme ‘Vigilance Against Corruption: Our Shared Responsibility’. The event was held under the supervision of DSP Mandeep Singh.SDM Garhshankar Sanjeev Kumar attended as chief guest and urged government officials, college staff, and students to perform their duties with honesty and dedication. DSP Mandeep Singh administered an anti-corruption pledge and explained the Bureau’s role in preventing bribery. He informed the participants that complaints regarding corruption can be registered through the toll-free number 1800-1800-1000, the Anti-Corruption Action Line 95012-00200, or the official website www.vigilancebureau.punjab.gov.in.Pamphlets carrying contact details of vigilance officials were also distributed. Inspector Sakshi Sharma, SHO Gagandeep Singh Sekhon, EO Madan Singh, Market Committee Secretary Varinder Kumar, Principal Amandeep Heera, and representatives from various departments and the college were present.
