Annual Kabaddi Cup Organized by

Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/Nov.8 : The Friends Club of Bassi Babu Khan village in Hoshiarpur district organized its annual Kabaddi Cup with great enthusiasm. Punjab Police Special DGP Naresh Arora attended the event as the chief guest, accompanied by SP (D) Major Singh and DSP Tanda Davinder Singh Bajwa.Addressing the gathering, DGP Arora recalled his earlier visit to Hoshiarpur under the Punjab Government’s “War Against Drugs” campaign. He said he had then pledged to participate in every initiative aimed at the welfare and future of the district’s youth. In the same spirit, he attended the Kabaddi tournament this year to motivate the players.DGP Arora emphasized that athletes should always play with true sportsmanship and dedication. He added that sports not only keep individuals physically fit and healthy but also help them become mentally and spiritually strong, steering them away from drugs and other social evils.
