Vijay Sampla Accuses AAP MLAs

Hoshiarpur /Daljeet Ajnodha/ Nov.8 :  Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and former Union Minister Vijay Sampla has strongly condemned the Aam Aadmi Party legislators for allegedly misleading the public by distributing letters for grants that were, in fact, sanctioned during his tenure in 2019.Sampla stated that it is unfortunate that AAP MLAs are attempting to create a false impression among the people, suggesting that these grants were recently approved by their party’s government. In reality, he clarified, the funds represent the final installments of allocations approved during his tenure as Union Minister and Member of Parliament from Hoshiarpur.According to Sampla, a total grant of Rs 2.45 crore was sanctioned in 2019 for various developmental works across the assembly segments of Hoshiarpur. The funds, delayed due to administrative reasons, have now been fully released following his persistent efforts. He alleged that AAP legislators are misleadingly claiming that the Punjab government has secured these funds, which he described as deceptive propaganda.“These misleading activities confuse the public and go against the principles of political ethics,” Sampla said. He urged the administration to probe the matter and ensure that the truth is made public.The BJP leader also criticized the Aam Aadmi Party for allegedly taking credit for central government schemes, saying, “Whether it is the Ayushman Bharat scheme, door-to-door ration distribution, Jan Aushadhi Kendras, or the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the AAP has repeatedly tried to project central initiatives as its own achievements. The people of Punjab are well aware of these fabrications.”Among those present with Sampla were former Cabinet Minister Arunesha Shakir, constituency in-charge Raghunathan Rana (Dasuya), Bharat Bhushan Verma, Ashwini Ohri, Advocate Dilbagh Baggi, Sahil Sampla, Charanjit Arshi, Dheeraj Airi, Kamal Verma, former MC Vinay, Pankaj Mishra, Ranjan Kumar, Shatrughan, Shivam Ohri, Suraj Sharma, and Lavneet Mankhand.
