Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/Nov.28 : In compliance with the directives of the Election Commission of India, the Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-Additional District Election Officer, Amarbir Kaur Bhullar, carried out the monthly inspection of the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) warehouse at the district level in Hoshiarpur for the month of November 2025. The inspection was conducted without opening the machines. Representatives from various political parties were also in attendance.As part of the inspection process, all pertinent records, logbooks, and entry registers were meticulously examined to ensure full transparency.Amarbir Kaur Bhullar emphasized that the monthly inspection of the EVM warehouse is a routine and indispensable procedure aimed at preserving the integrity, security, and transparency of the electoral process. She expressed satisfaction with the fact that the warehouse setup in the district adheres to the highest standards.Political party representatives welcomed this initiative by the Election Commission, stating that it reinforces public trust in the democratic process and effectively counters misinformation regarding the impartiality of the voting machines.Present at the event were Rajneesh Tandon from the Indian National Congress, Bhushan Kumar Sharma from the Bharatiya Janata Party, Balvinder Singh from the Communist Party of India (Marxist), along with Nodal Officer for EVMs Balwinder Singh, Tehsildar (Election) Harminder Singh, Election Kanungo Deepak Kumar, and Lakhvir Singh.
