In 2027, every polling booth will bear the Elephant symbol
Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/Dec.4 :Under the ‘Save Punjab Campaign,’ people across Punjab will unite to help pull the state out of the dark phase of drug addiction and make it prosperous again by supporting the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). This was stated by Dr. Avtar Singh KarimPuri, BSP Punjab President and former Rajya Sabha member.KarimPuri announced that BSP will contest the upcoming District Council and Committee elections on its election symbol, the Elephant, and aims to secure a large number of victories. He also emphasized the importance of ensuring free and fair elections.Calling on all to spread the ‘Save Punjab Campaign’ at the grassroots level, KarimPuri outlined the campaign’s key goals: eradication of the drug menace, creation of employment opportunities, eliminating gangsterism from Punjab, initiating an education revolution, ensuring 100% teacher deployment in schools, enforcing free and compulsory education laws, launching a health revolution, freeing Punjab from debt burdens, reviving the fading farmer culture, lifting laborers out of poverty, providing care for childhood and old age, and preventing exploitation of natural resources.The campaign also seeks to raise awareness against alleged conspiracies by the BJP and Congress central governments targeting Chandigarh and Punjab University.KarimPuri further criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Punjab for failing to disburse promised ₹1,000 monthly payments to Punjab’s daughters for the past 45 months, calling it a betrayal. He asserted that all these issues will be highlighted through the BSP-led campaign to inform the public and expose the unfulfilled promises of the AAP government ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections.
