Free Cancer and Eye Check-up

Hoshiarpur/Dec 19/Daljeet Ajnoha : A free medical camp for cancer and eye check-ups will be organised on December 25 at the school playground in Bhungarni village, Hoshiarpur district.Founder of Mata Ram Kaur Heritage Centre Bhungarni (Hoshiarpur), Dr. Amarjit Singh Balgir, announced that the camp, under the leadership of World Cancer Care-UK Charitable Society (with Dr. Kulwant Singh Dhaliwal as Global Ambassador), will run from 10 am to 4 pm. It is being supported by M/s Vardhman Group from Ludhiana, Hoshiarpur, Punjab.Expert doctors will provide free cancer screenings, cancer awareness leaflets and lectures, sugar and BP check-ups, general medical consultations and advice, mammography tests for women, eye examinations with 100 free spectacles, Pap smear tests for women, PSA tests for men’s anal region checks, blood cancer screenings, oral and throat checks, bone assessments, general medicines, and facilities for cancer patients.The event has received support from Gurdwara Guru Har Rai Sahib Bhungarni (President Surjit Singh Masuta and managing committee), Gram Panchayat Bhungarni, Amar Kaur Charan Kaur Welfare Society Bhungarni, Jan Kalyan Society Bhungarni, local prominent figures, and NRIs from nearby villages. Those present included Dharam Singh Janjua, Jagtar Singh Bhungarni, Surjit Singh Masuta, Ratish Singh Saroa, and Surinder Singh.
