Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/April 04 : The premier institutes Rayat Institute of Pharmacy and Lamrin School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, under Lamrin Tech Skills University, Punjab successfully organized their 3rd Blood Donation Camp at Lamrin Tech Skills University Campus in collaboration with Sant Gurmel Singh Blood Centre and Sant Gurmel Singh Memorial Hospital Balachaur.
Chancellor Sh N S Rayat inaugurated the Blood Donation camp and appreciated the initiatives taken by pharmacy institutes.He said a drop of blood can save a precious lives.
Dr N S Gill Executive Dean said the camp witnessed an overwhelming response from students, faculty, and staff, resulting in the collection of a total of 130 units of blood voluntarily.
Registrar Dr B S Satyal LTSU and Dr. Amit Sharma Deputy Dean Lamrin School of Pharmaceutical Sciences said these blood units will significantly boost to local healthcare needs and needy persons.It is really a Mahadan.
Prof. Narinder Bhumbla Camp Coordinator and PRO emphasized the importance of voluntary blood donation. He highlighted that such initiatives not only save lives but also instill a sense of social responsibility among students.Blood donors were felicitated with awarding certificate and gifts. Prof. Amanpreet Kaur HOD thanked all donors, medical care team, blood bank team and college officials who supported with tireless efforts to make the camp successful event. Mr Shiv Kumar Asstt Coordinator , Raj Kumar Sharma Chief Librarian, Sumit Kumar office Superintendent and other senior faculty, staff and students were present on the occasion.
