Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/April 26 — A free blood donation camp was organised by the University School of Medical Laboratory Sciences at Rayat Bahra Professional University as part of Medical Laboratory Professionals Week. The event was conducted under the guidance of Vice-Chancellor Dr. Chander Mohan.
The camp was successfully conducted with the support of Dr. Maninder Pal, Director of the University School of Pharmacy. Students and staff members participated enthusiastically, donating blood and spreading a message of social service. A large number of students and faculty members took part in the camp.
During the programme, Dr. Vaishali and her team from the Civil Hospital were welcomed by Dr. Sukhmeet Kaur Bedi and Dr. Maninder Pal. Emphasising the importance of blood donation, they encouraged everyone to participate in this noble cause.
Dr. Sukhmeet Kaur Bedi said that blood donation is a noble and life-saving act that ensures timely help to patients in need. She added that medical laboratory professionals are a vital part of healthcare services and their contribution is extremely important. She also urged students to actively participate in such social initiatives to spread awareness and help the needy.
