Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/May 14 : I always strive to work towards meeting the expectations of my constituents and making multi-fold efforts for the same”, said Dr. Ishank Kumar, MLA Chabbewal during his meeting with people at Jangliana. The development of Chabbewal constituency is always on my priority list, he further added. While addressing the gathering, Dr. Ishank said that multiple development works worth ₹27.50 lakh are currently underway in Village Jangliana to strengthen basic infrastructure and improve living conditions for residents.
He informed that works including drainage and sewerage of ₹7.50 lakh, Guru Ravidas Dharamshala with ₹5 lakh, streets with ₹15 lakh, are in progress and will be completed soon. The MLA further stated that a road from Rasoolpur to Jangliana, measuring 0.60 km and costing ₹12.34 lakh, has been approved and tendered. The construction work on this road will also commence shortly.
Dr. Ishank Kumar reiterated his commitment to ensuring holistic development of the area and said that all ongoing projects are being closely monitored to ensure timely completion with quality standards.
Sarpanch Manjit Kaur, on behalf of the villagers, appreciated the ongoing development works and expressed satisfaction with the efforts being made to improve infrastructure in the village. Those present on the occasion included Meena Kumari (Panch), Lehmber Singh (Panch), Kuljit Singh (Panch), Satnam Singh, Rashpal Singh, Hardeep Singh, Gurdeep Singh and other prominent persons.
