Hoshiarpur /Daljeet Ajnoha/May 27 :  A meeting of the women’s wing of the BSP’s Chabeval area, Zone Pandori Bibi, was held at the residence of former block committee member Mohan Singh Ji. Advocate Palwinder Mana, district in-charge and area in-charge for Chabewal, attended as the chief guest. He was joined by Bibi Krishna (district in-charge, women’s wing), who was present specially for the occasion.
A large number of women from the Bahujan community gathered to pay tribute to Babasaheb Dr B.R. Ambedkar and to demonstrate solidarity and strength.
With the leadership’s consent, Advocate Palwinder Mana announced several organizational appointments to strengthen the women’s wing. The party named the late Onkar Singh Jhamat’s wife, Bibi Raj Rani Jhamat, as in-charge of the Sahri zone, Pandori Bibi women’s wing. Bibi Ranjit Kaur Faglana, a former district council candidate, was appointed in-charge of Zone Pandori Bibi women’s wing. Joginder Kaur and Saty Devi were appointed in-charges of Sector Basi Daulat Khan. From Sector Atowal, Surinder Kaur (former committee member), Mandeep Kaur, Sukhvinder Kaur, Seetal Kaur and Swarn Kaur were given special responsibilities.
Many women pledged to join the BSP’s “Punjab Sambhalo” campaign at the event. Advocate Palqinder Mana and Bibi Krishna formally welcomed and honored them into the party.
In his address, Advocate Mana said the BSP will give a strong reply to the election promises made by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann in the 2027 assembly elections. He added that by forming a BSP government in Punjab, the party will lead the state towards progress by making it corruption-free and drug-free.
