Dera Bishanpuri to Observe Annual

Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/May 28 :   A religious congregation dedicated to the memory of the late Mahant Ram Singh and the late Sant Maan Singh will be held at Dera Bishanpuri in Nangal Khurd from June 2 to June 4, announced current head Mahant Vikramjit Singh.
Speaking to the press, Mahant Vikramjit Singh said the three-day observance, organised by the dera with the help and devotion of local residents, will begin on June 2 with the continuous reading of the Sri Akhand Path Sahib. Following the conclusion of the Akhand Path Sahib on June 4, a diwan (religious assembly) will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., during which spiritual leaders from various sects will pay tribute and offer their respects to the departed saints.
Mahant Vikramjit Singh added that a foundation-laying ceremony for the Dera Loh Langar Charitable Hospital will be conducted on the occasion. Devotees attending the event will also be served langar (community meals) throughout the gathering.
