Internationally renowned Vastu expert and author Dr. Bhupender Vastu Shastri says that a building we construct is not merely bricks, stone and mortar but a science of subtle Vedic energies that influences our spiritual, cultural, social, religious, physical, economic, mental and judicial lives. According to him, in Vastu the directions and the angles associated with them are extremely important.
Dr. Bhupender explains that the Ishan (northeast) corner represents intelligence, discernment, truth and justice. The Agneya (southeast) corner is associated with disputes, separation, anger, stress and strife. The Nairitya (southwest) corner may lead to quarrels, debts, secrets and fights, while the Vayavya (northwest) corner signifies enmity, social differences, liabilities and relocations.
Following these symbolic principles, he advises that keeping any legal case files, documents or related papers in the Ishan corner increases the hope of receiving a just verdict — the outcome will be what is right. Files kept at home or in the office are not mere pieces of paper; they affect our mind and energy. Apart from the Ishan corner, files stored haphazardly in any other place can produce negative effects in life.
Dr. Bhupendra also warns against keeping cheque books, ATM or debit cards, credit cards, passports, mark sheets or similar personal financial documents together with court files. He recommends that all types of files and documents be neatly arranged and stored in wooden cupboards or chests.
