Liaison with Woman Empowerment Society,

A free eye-check and surgery camp was organised at Agrawal Bhawan under the leadership of Sandeep Soni, president of the Collaborations : Woman Empowerment Society, with medical support from Lions Eye Hospital, Adampur. A team of specialist doctors from the hospital examined patients on the spot; those requiring surgery were transported to Adampur for free operations, while others received medicines and diagnostic tests at the camp.
Former chairman of Nagar Sudhar Trust, Hoshiarpur, Advocate Rakesh Marwaha, who welcomed the guests, said the Collaborations Society works for women’s empowerment and, under Soni’s guidance, runs various social service initiatives to benefit all sections of society. He thanked the medical team from Lions Eye Hospital and expressed gratitude to all guests and patients who attended the camp.
Advocate Marwaha added that patients scheduled for surgery were taken to Adampur by bus and all procedures were provided free of charge. He lauded Soni’s spirit of service and thanked the organisers and volunteers for the smooth conduct of the camp.
The event was attended and appreciated by several dignitaries, including DEO Harjinder Kaur, former sarpanch Ajay Mohan Babbi, Narveer Singh Nandi, Mohan Lal Pehlwan, Advocate Rohit Joshi, Advocate Ekta Thakur, Prin. Ram Murti Sharma, Kundan Singh, Bhupinder Singh and Lawlesh Mida, among others.
