Hoshiarpur /Daljeet Ajnoha/June 23 : In a significant administrative development for the region, the Punjab Cabinet has approved the establishment of an Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) post at Dasuya during its meeting held today. The achievement is being credited to the persistent efforts of Dasuya MLA Adv. Karambir Singh Ghuman.
Under the new administrative arrangement, the tehsils of Dasuya, Talwara, Mukerian, Hajipur and Garhdiwala will come under the jurisdiction of the ADC, Dasuya. The move is expected to strengthen governance and bring administrative services closer to the people of the area.
During a conversation with journalist MLA Adv. Karambir Singh Ghuman stated that the approval of the ADC post is a major milestone for Dasuya. He said that the new administrative setup will greatly benefit residents by ensuring quicker access to government services and more efficient handling of public issues.
He further emphasized that the decision marks an important step towards the long-standing aspiration of elevating Dasuya to district status in the future. Congratulating the residents of Dasuya and the surrounding region, he described the approval as a landmark achievement that will accelerate administrative efficiency and regional development.
