Bram Shankar Jimpa: Government Schools

Taking forward the Punjab Government’s “Education Revolution” campaign, MLA Bram Shankar Jimpa today distributed school bags to students of classes XI and XII at Government Senior Secondary School, Piplanwalah. Speaking at the event, he urged students to pursue quality education and build a bright future.
MLA Jimpa said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab government has brought historic changes in the education sector, placing the state among the leaders in the country in terms of education. He added that the Education Revolution campaign has modernised the infrastructure of government schools and implemented wide-ranging reforms to provide students with quality education.
He said government schools across the state have been equipped with smart classrooms, modern laboratories, improved furniture, clean surroundings and other essential facilities, giving students an academic environment comparable to private institutions. He emphasised that the Punjab government’s objective is to provide every child with equitable, high-quality education so they can realise their aspirations.
Urging students to study diligently, Jimpa said the government is committed to providing all possible facilities and that reforms in the education sector will continue.
Also present at the programme were the school principal Vaishali Chadda, Deepak Vashisht, councillor Jaswant Rai, councillor Raj Rani, youth coordinator Pritpal, Lakhbeer and other dignitaries.
