Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/August 03 : Former Member of Parliament, renowned playback and Sufi singer, and former Chief Sewadar of Dera Bapu Lal Badshah Ji, Nakodar, Hans Raj Hans paid a spiritual visit to Dera Bapu Ganga Das Ji, Mahilpur, where he offered prayers and sought the blessings of the revered saints.
During his visit, Hans Raj Hans received a warm welcome from Das Mandeep Singh Bains (Manga Ji), Chief Sewadar of the Dera. The two held detailed discussions on various religious, spiritual, and social issues, emphasizing the need to strengthen the values of humanity, communal harmony, selfless service, and moral responsibility in society. They also highlighted the importance of preserving India’s rich spiritual heritage and inspiring the younger generation to remain connected with their cultural roots.
On the occasion, senior journalist Daljit Ajnoha conducted an exclusive interview with Hans Raj Hans. During the interaction, the veteran singer shared his views on religion, social harmony, public service, contemporary politics, music, and several other important issues. He said that the teachings of saints and spiritual leaders continue to guide humanity towards peace, truth, humility, compassion, and universal brotherhood, which are essential for building a progressive society.
Responding to a question from senior journalist Daljit Ajnoha about his political journey, Hans Raj Hans said that it was by the immense grace of the Almighty that he was given the opportunity to contest the Lok Sabha elections from Delhi and was elected to Parliament with a massive mandate. He stated that as a Member of Parliament, he always placed the interests of Punjab above everything else and sincerely worked to undertake every possible initiative for the welfare and development of the state. He added that he has always carried the spirit of Punjabiyat in his heart and, wherever life has taken him, he has remained deeply connected to his roots, his mother tongue, his culture, and the people of Punjab. He emphasized that Punjab’s true identity lies in its traditions of love, unity, and communal harmony, which must be preserved for future generations.
Hans Raj Hans further said that visits to religious places provide inner peace, positive energy, and spiritual strength. Such sacred institutions play an important role in preserving cultural and spiritual values while encouraging people to live a life based on compassion, honesty, and selfless service. He also appealed to the youth to contribute towards building a stronger and more harmonious society by embracing the ideals of love, unity, and service to humanity.
