Principal Seema Rani Honoured After 32

— Principal Seema Rani, who has left a lasting imprint on the field of education, retired from School of Eminence, Garhshankar after 32 years of exemplary service. The school organized a grand farewell party for her, attended by staff members, well-wishers and community dignitaries.
Dr. Vijay Bhatti, in-charge of Government Senior Secondary School, Fatehpur Khurd, praised Principal Seema Rani’s dedication while speaking about her career. He said she discharged every responsibility entrusted to her by the department with full commitment and raised academic standards while meeting students’ educational needs. “Principal Seema Rani has been a hands-on school head who played a significant role in elevating the institution’s academic performance. Her services will always be remembered by students, parents and teachers,” he added. Dr. Bhatti also noted her strong rapport with students, parents and the wider community, which helped the school reach new heights.
Before her tenure at School of Eminence, Seema Rani rendered distinguished service at Government Senior Secondary School, Mahilpur (Boys). Education Secretary Krishna Kumar had earlier honoured her for her multifaceted contributions to the education sector.
Vocational lecturers Shivani Agnihotri, Mandeep Kaur and Mohan Singh recalled that Seema Rani began her career in 1994 as a lecturer in the education department. She efficiently handled departmental duties at Government Kanya Secondary School, Mahilpur (Girls), earning recognition and departmental awards. She was promoted to the post of principal in 2010 and took on administrative responsibilities thereafter.
Born in Patiala in 1969, Seema Rani married Mahesh Budhiraja, a businessman from Mahilpur, in 1989. Her son Harsh Budhiraja is a manager with a reputed international firm, and her daughter Kanika Bagri holds multiple degrees and has been a biology lecturer since 2016.
Among those who congratulated and honoured her at the event were noted littérateur Baljinder Maan, principals Harvinder Kaur, Satinderdeep Kaur Dhillon, Dharminder Sharma and Harvinder Kaur, district president Krishanjeet Rao Kandowal, artist Bagga Singh, members of the school managing committee, teaching staff and parents.
