Former MP, Renowned Sufi Singer

Former Member of Parliament, celebrated Sufi and playback singer Hans Raj Hans visited Darbar Bapu Ganga Das in Mahilpur and paid his respects, receiving blessings from the revered saints. He was warmly received by the darbar’s chief sewadar, Das Mandeep Singh Bains (Manga).
The two engaged in an extensive discussion on religious, social and spiritual matters. During their conversation they described the teachings of the saints as the most effective means to strengthen peace, brotherhood, humanity and the spirit of selfless service in society. They also emphasized the need to promote moral values and to connect young people with their spiritual and cultural heritage.
Hans Raj Hans said visiting sacred places brings inner peace, positive energy and renewed inspiration. He noted that such holy sites play a vital role in preserving our cultural and spiritual legacy while reconnecting people with ethical values. He urged young people to embrace love, unity, social harmony and selfless service to help build a stronger, more inclusive society.
A large number of devotees gathered at the darbar to receive Hans Raj Hans. They accorded him a heartfelt welcome and praised his message of peace, humanity and brotherhood. The atmosphere throughout the event was filled with devotion, reverence and spiritual fervour.
Those present included Chetan Sharma, Satnam Das, Talbir Singh, Gopi Basra, Baldev Singh Bains, Ravi Thekedar, Shera Begum Pur, Ram Nath, and Paramjeet Singh Bains, among others.
