Deputy Commissioner Nawanshahr Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa told about the arrangements made by the civil administration regarding the prevention of possible floods that instructions were given to the officials concerned about the work of sewage and drains in the district. He said that the rainy season is going on. Therefore, the officials of the department were instructed to fix the problem of sewerage in the city, and if there is a blockage in the sewerage, open it and ensure uninterrupted supply. He told the officials that during rains, water should not flood the city, so they should check their sewage system so that there is no problem. He asked the officials of the drains department to ensure the cleanliness of the drains so that water can flow easily through the drains when it rains. They should complete their arrangements on time regarding the prevention of possible floods so that there is no trouble later. On this occasion, he said that the entry of heavy vehicles in the city is closed from 7 am to 9 am and drones have been completely banned, he said.
