Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/August 7 :
On the orders issued by Special Director General of Police Law and Order Punjab, Chandigarh and Naveen Singla DIG Jalandhar Range in district Hoshiarpur,
Operation Eagle V was launched under which
the supervision of SSP Surender Lamba IPS Hoshiarpur, under the able leadership of Sarabjit Singh SP, Manoj Kumar SP, Navneet Kaur SP, 15 police parties were formed for prevention and control of drug abuse by a total of 9 DSPs and 15 SHOs in various subdivisions so that the smugglers who sell drugs can be caught and 20 hot spot locations with drugs can be identified.
During Operation Eagle V, 148 persons were checked and a total of 4 cases were registered in various police stations and 4 accused were arrested.
