unanimously elected Panchayats will promote unity and goodwill of villages
Hoshiarpur : Daljeet Ajnoha – Oct.13 : Hoshiarpur Assembly constituency MLA and former Cabinet Minister Bram Shankar Jimpa felicitated 11 unanimously elected Panchayats out of 57 in the Assembly constituency. On this occasion, he said that the collective decision taken by the Gram Panchayats of Hoshiarpur by rising above party politics will further strengthen the unity of the villages. He said that unanimous decision-making by the Panchayats is not only an ideal example of the democratic process, but it will also open new doors of rural development.
Bram Shankar Jimpa announced that an amount of five lakh rupees will be provided to these Panchayats by the Punjab Government as a special grant. This amount will be given for the construction and development work of the stadium, school or hospital of the villages. He said that the Punjab government is committed to provide all possible financial assistance to the unanimously elected Panchayats as per its promise and the overall development of the villages will be ensured.
MLA Jimpa said that this step of the Panchayats of Hoshiarpur will promote unity and goodwill in the villages. The unanimous elections conducted by the Panchayats show that the rural society has decided to work together for development. This will also increase mutual cooperation and harmony in the villages.
Bram Shankar Jimpa said that the Panchayats formed unanimously are an example of rural democracy and unity. These Panchayats will strengthen mutual brotherhood along with the development of the villages. The Punjab government will provide all possible assistance to make the efforts of these Panchayats successful.
