Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/May 10 : In light of the current security scenario and the directives issued by the Central and Punjab Governments, ASI Sukhwinder Singh, In-Charge of Kot Fatuhi Police Post, organized a significant meeting with prominent villagers and key shopkeepers from the surrounding areas.
During the meeting, ASI Sukhwinder Singh briefed the attendees about the present situation and emphasized the importance of adhering to safety measures during blackout alerts. He conveyed the instructions issued by the district administration and higher authorities, stressing that utmost caution must be exercised during such events.
He advised that when sirens are sounded, all lights should be turned off immediately, and residents should remain indoors. This precaution is essential to avoid any untoward incidents. He reassured the public by stating there is no need to panic, but being vigilant and alert is crucial.
Elders and community leaders present at the meeting appreciated the police’s proactive approach and assured full cooperation in following the guidelines moving forward.
