Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/Jan 30 : All India Football Federation (AIFF) General Secretary Satyanarayan M Satya received a grand welcome at Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College Mahilpur during the selection matches of the Asmita Football League. College Principal Dr Parvinder Singh and Arjuna Awardi footballer Gurdev Singh Gill led the reception.On this occasion, Principal Dr Parvinder Singh briefed Mr Satyanarayan about the football achievements in the Mahilpur region. He highlighted the impressive performances of Khalsa College Mahilpur’s football players in prominent national football clubs.Mr Satyanarayan offered suggestions to the college management for further expanding football in the area. He praised the enthusiasm of football players in Punjab’s Mahilpur region and stressed the need for greater support from the government and social service organizations to nurture this talent.Arjuna Awardi Gurdev Singh Gill discussed the development of football and the achievements of Indian football with Mr Satyanarayan. Players and sports promoters present at the event shared their ideas for promoting the sport and exchanged views on modern techniques in football.Mr Satyanarayan was specially honoured by the college management and sports promoters on this occasion.
