Artificial Limbs Donation Camp organized

Ludhiana /Daljeet Ajnoha/Nov.02 :  The 31st artificial limbs donation camp for needy differently-abled persons was organized by Lodge Vishwakarma No. 173 of the “Freemasons” Society, Ludhiana, at Sarabha Nagar.
Providing information about Freemasons, the Worshipful Master of the local lodge, Brother Umang Joshi, stated that Freemasons is an international-level organization spread not only in India but across the world. The three guiding principles of the organization are—brotherly love, relief, and truth. He further said, ‘We strive to carry forward the same message through our social service projects.’ He added that in Ludhiana, we are a strong family of 56 members who continue to organize charitable and social programs. Not only members but also their friends and family members participate in this. Joshi further informed that this program was started in 2010.
To make this occasion memorable, arrangements were made today by the Ludhiana lodge of the organization to donate 50 artificial limbs, in which 20 needy differently-abled persons were given artificial limbs.
On this occasion, langar was also organized by the members for all those present at the event.
On this occasion, Very Worship Brother Kiran Singh Birk, Right Worship Brother Gurdev Singh, Brother CA Kawitansh Khanna, Brother Major Soi, Brother Balbir Singh, Brother Sanjeev Kapoor, Brother Anil Aggarwal, Brother Walia, and other brothers associated with the lodge were present in a special capacity.
