BBMB Hospital Talwara: 100-Bedded Facility

Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/Oct 06 : The Chief Engineer, Talwara, of the Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) Mr. Rakesh Gupta informed that BBMB Hospital Talwara
is a 100-bedded hospital. Appointments have been made for all 16 sanctioned posts for doctors, with 15 doctors having joined and being fully available (one Gynecologist is currently on maternity leave). Available specialists include Physician Dr. Sukhdev Ji, Surgeon Dr. Mehta, Orthopaedician & PMO Dr. S.P. Singh, and Eye Specialist, Dr. Anahit Kaur, Dental Surgen Dr. Deviyani Kaul along with Dr. Davinder Puri, Dr. Satish Kajal, Dr. Nirbhay Singh, and Dr. Suvrat Kalia. Out of the 18 sanctioned nursing posts, 9 regular and 9 apprentice nurses are currently working. The Chief Engineer has informed that the hospital is dedicated to providing treatment at Government rates to all local and surrounding residents in addition to BBMB employees. Essential diagnostic tests, including CBC, Blood Sugar, RFT, LFT, Urine Test, Lipid Profile, X-Ray, ECG, and ultrasound, are available at the hospital at affordable rates. Furthermore, a Sonography machine is available, and a Physiotherapist is expected to be posted soon. The Chief Engineer has appealed to all surrounding residents to visit the hospital and take maximum advantage of the improved facilities, as the hospital is now providing all necessary health services at its full capacity.
