Hoshiarpur /Daljit Ajnoha/Oct.10 :  Punjab’s Local Government Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh today held an extensive meeting with various panchayats from the Sham Chaurasi Assembly constituency at the BDPO Block-1 office. The meeting, which lasted several hours, included detailed discussions on development works and administrative challenges faced by the panchayats.Present at the meeting were ADC (Development) Nikas Kumar, SDM Gursimranjit Kaur, BDPO Block-1, along with officials from the Panchayat Department.Dr. Ravjot Singh sought updates from panchayat representatives on ongoing projects in rural areas and the difficulties being encountered. He issued on-the-spot instructions to the concerned officials to ensure prompt resolution of all problems so that development activities in villages continue unhindered.The Minister stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab government is committed to the overall development of the state. He assured that there would be no shortage of funds for development projects and that the government’s objective is to ensure uniform progress from villages to cities.Emphasising transparency, accountability, and public interest, Dr. Ravjot said the government is taking concrete measures for the welfare of all sections of society. He instructed officials to pay special attention to the quality of all development projects and ensure that citizens fully benefit from their entitlements.Improvement Trust Chairman Gurwinder Singh Pabla was also present on the occasion.
