Hoshiarpur/August 21/Daljeet Ajnoha : Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal said that the district administration is regularly resolving the problems of the public. She said that prompt action is being taken by establishing coordination with the concerned departments to solve public problems, so that the public does not have to face any kind of inconvenience. In this connection, today the problem of potholes on the road at Singriwala Chowk near Chandigarh Bypass on Jalandhar-Hoshiarpur Road came to his notice.
Taking this problem of the public seriously, the Deputy Commissioner directed the Public Works Department to immediately resolve this problem. After this, Executive Gurmeet Singh of the Public Works Department said that the department has taken prompt action and repaired the potholes on the road at Singdiwala Chowk. She informed that the potholes have been completely filled and now this road has become safe and smooth for traffic.
The Deputy Commissioner informed that the aim of the district administration is to provide quick solution to the problems of the public. She said that special attention is being given to public problems during the regular review meetings of administrative officers. The concerned departments have been instructed to take immediate action on the complaints of the public and solve the problems of the public on priority basis. The Deputy Commissioner assured that the district administration is taking every possible step for the welfare of the public, and the problems of the public will be taken seriously in future also.
