Cabinet Minister inaugurated road construction works in Ward No. 21 and 41
Hoshiarpur/September 09/Daljeet Ajnoha : Cabinet Minister Punjab Bram Shankar Jimpa inaugurated the construction work of ITI road near Mohalla Ranjit Singh Nagar in Ward No. 21 and different streets in Ward No. 41 at a cost of Rs 17 lakh. On this occasion, he said that the government is giving priority to development works in every corner of the city, so that the public can get facilities and their standard of living improves. Mayor Surinder Kumar, Senior Deputy Mayor Praveen Saini and Deputy Mayor Ranjita Chaudhary were also present with him on this occasion.
The Cabinet Minister clarified that strict instructions have already been given to the Municipal Corporation officials that there should be no compromise on the quality of construction works. He said that the main objective of our government is that every work should be completed on time and with high quality, so that the public can get its benefits for a long time. He assured that the development works will be regularly monitored and any kind of irregularity will not be tolerated.
Bram Shankar Jimpa said that every possible effort is being made by the government to make the city clean and beautiful. He said that our aim is to develop Hoshiarpur as an ideal city, where citizens get a clean and safe environment. For this, special attention is also being paid to the works of cleanliness and beautification in collaboration with the Municipal Corporation. He also appealed to the ward residents to cooperate in these development works and play their part in keeping their area clean and beautiful. He said that the all-round development of the city is possible only with cooperation between the government and the public.
On this occasion Councillor Geetika Arora, Councillor Sulekha Devi, Principal Surjit Kaur, Veena, Madan Dutta, Amarjit, Sanjeev Arora, Harvinder Singh, Numberdar Avtar Singh, Paramjit Singh Timma, Kulwinder Hundal, Dr. Rashpal Singh Bharaj, Jassa Hundal, Jaswant Rai, Harminder Gopi, Dharminder Singh, Jatinder Lucky, Pradeep Dippa, Harbhajan Puri, Hardev Singh, Lal Singh, Pritam Das, Jatinder Singh, Ranjit Hundal were also present.
