Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/Feb.16 : Vardhman Yarns & Threads Ltd, Hoshiarpur has been initiating various activities in the area of Education, Health, Rural development and Environment and Sustainability under its CSR programme. As a part of series of CSR initiatives,Today Dr. Ishank Kumar, MLA, inaugurated and dedicated two classrooms with furniture & fixtures, a Midday Meal shed and water cooler with R.O at Govt Sr. Sec. Smart School, Phalahi, Hoshiarpur.
Dr. Ishank Kumar, MLA appreciated the contribution of Vardhman Yarns & Threads Ltd to this school and improving infrastructure in other government schools of Hoshiarpur. He extended his thanks note to Vardhman team and said that Vardhman is already in the forefront and extending its payback to the society through CSR initiative’s in Health care & Education which are in process whether organizing cancer awareness camps in an around Hoshiarpur or infrastructural development of schools and educational institutes. He further apprised that Punjab Govt. is also making efforts to provide infrastructural developments in the education sector which will help and support the children’s education.
Mr. IMJS Sidhu (President & Director incharge) during this function said that the founders of this organization are visionary and Vardhman has always been in support and encourages welfare of the society in Education and Health sector by taking initiatives under its CSR activities for such developments within and around the city of Hoshiarpur.
Mr. Tarun Chawla Director (Finance & Admn) extended his thanks note to Dr. Ishank kumar, School Principal and other dignitaries present there. He further addressed that Vardhman is always been in forefront for developmental initiatives in Education and Health sector under CSR. And such initiatives will support the children studying in this school and of nearby Phalahi area. He emphasized the importance of a school infrastructure which plays a vital role in building a learning and positive environment and Vardhman keep on taking such initiative’s under CSR.
On this occasion, School has organized a cultural program presented by the school children. Ms Mridula Sharma, School Principal and her staff welcomed the guests and thanked Vardhman for supporting the school. She further extended her thanks note to Dr. Ishank Kumar, MLA ,Mr. IMJS Sidhu (President & Director incharge), Mr. Tarun Chawla Director (Finance & Admn) & Vardhman Team,Sarpanch Ms. Lakhbir kaur- Phalahi, Ex-Sarpanch Sh.Surjit lal and other dignitaries present on this occasion.
