Hoshiarpur / Daljeet Ajnoha/April 16 : As per the guidelines of Health and Family Welfare Department of Punjab Government, after promotion, Dr. Ranjit Singh assume charge as District Family Welfare Officer at Civil Surgeon Office, Hoshiarpur today. He was warmly welcomed by Civil Surgeon Dr. Pawan Kumar Shagotra along with all program officers, and employees at the Civil Surgeon Office. Dr. Ranjit Singh completed his graduation from Faridkot district in 1991. In 2007, he received MS degree in General Surgery from Amritsar Medical College. Before this, he was providing his services to the people as a surgeon in CHC Bhunga with full devotion.
On the occasion of assuming charge, he said that he will fulfill the responsibility entrusted to him by the Punjab Government as District Family Welfare Officer with full devotion and honesty. He will make every possible effort to make all the health facilities being run by the government for family welfare available to the common people, so that quality and better health facilities being provided by the government can be made available to everyone. On this occasion, Executive Assistant Civil Surgeon Dr. DP Singh, District Vaccination Officer Dr. Seema Garg, Senior Medical Officer Incharge Civil Hospital Hoshiarpur Dr. Swati Shinhmar, Executive Deputy Medical Commissioner Dr. Savita Rana, District Program Officer Mr. Asif Mohammad, Senior Assistant Mr. Satpal and Steno Mrs. Asha were present among others.
