Hoshiarpur/ June 19 /Daljeet Ajnoha : Due to the dedicated efforts of former BJP MP Avinash Rai Khanna and the effective foreign policy of the Indian Government, Harmesh Lal—a resident of Siparian village in Block Hajipur—who was stranded in Dubai due to a serious illness, has successfully returned to India.
Providing details from Khanna’s office, Jyoti Kumar Jolly stated that recently, Ramandeep Kaur from Siparian village met Mr. Khanna along with former Chairperson Jaswinder Kaur and former Sarpanch Sushil Kumar. Ramandeep Kaur informed Mr. Khanna that her husband Harmesh Lal was seriously ill and admitted to a hospital in Dubai. Due to his deteriorating health, he was no longer fit to work, and without help from the Central Government, it was impossible to bring him back to India.
Moved by her plea, Mr. Khanna immediately contacted BJP worker Amaninder Singh in Dubai and escalated the matter to the Indian Government through his office. Thanks to his swift intervention and the Indian Government’s proactive foreign policy, Harmesh Lal was brought back from Dubai and reunited with his family in India.
Once Mr. Khanna received confirmation from both the Indian Government and authorities in Dubai that Harmesh Lal was being sent back to India, his office contacted Ramandeep Kaur. In response, Ramandeep Kaur, along with Jaswinder Kaur and Sushil Kumar, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Central Government and Mr. Khanna.
Apart from the timely action by the Indian Government, Amaninder Singh also played a significant role in facilitating Harmesh Lal’s return.
