Hoshiarpur :  Daljeet Ajnoha: Oct.11 :  Former minister Sundar Sham Arora enquired about the condition of the youths injured in the accident that took place during the procession of Shri Hanuman ji in Prahlad Nagar locality this morning and appealed to all the organizations that carry out the procession not to burst firecrackers and if they have to burst them, they should avoid big firecrackers and not burst them in narrow streets and markets. During this, he also met the family members of the youths injured in the firecracker blast and assured them of all possible support. Shri Arora said that due to the way the explosion took place, the possibility of loss of life could not be ruled out, but thank God that everyone’s life was saved and those who were injured also recovered soon and reached their homes. He appealed to the youth and children to take full precaution while taking out the procession of Shri Hanuman ji and ensure compliance of all traffic rules while walking on the road. He said that it is a good thing that our youth have complete devotion towards their religion and he respects their devotion. But along with propagating and spreading religion, it is also important to take care of safety. Therefore, if possible, stop using firecrackers completely and along with this, he wants to appeal that loud DJ music should also be stopped. If it has to be played, then bhajans of God should be played and that too in very low volume so that no one is disturbed. It has often been seen that loud DJ music disturbs many people on the road and there is also a risk of eardrum rupture and hearing loss and this also applies to the groups dancing along with the DJ. Therefore, stopping the practice of DJ is also the need of the hour. He appealed to the district administration and organizations to make some rules with full coordination so that such an accident does not happen in future and everyone should cooperate to ensure their compliance.
