Former Union Minister Vijay Sampla organized a Diwali Milan function on the occasion of Diwali. On this occasion, he specially congratulated the people of the entire country on Diwali. He also talked to senior journalist Daljeet Ajnoha on various current important issues, during which he said that the victory of BJP candidate Sohan Singh Thandal in the By Pole election being held in Chabbewal assembly constituency is certain because Sohan Singh Thandal has also been an MLA, CPS and Cabinet Minister in Shiromani Akali Dal. He has a direct contact with the people in the area and now he is contesting the election from BJP, so BJP’s vote bank is also with him, so his victory is certain. Speaking on the non-purchase and lifting of paddy lying in the mandi, he said that the central government has already given 44 crore rupees to the Punjab government to purchase the paddy crop lying in the farmers’ mandis, so the Punjab government does not have any shortage of money. Secondly, there is talk of storing the paddy crop, the solution to this is that the crop was lying here last year and the place there is lying vacant, so the central government has given all kinds of facilities to the Punjab government, any kind of any kind. He further said that just like Haryana, the victory of BJP is certain in the By pole election Vidhan Sabha constituency of Chabbewal too.
