Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha /August 23 : District Akali Dal (Urban) President Jatinder Singh Lali Bajwa expressed deep condolences on behalf of the entire Shiromani Akali Dal to the families who lost their loved ones in the tragic accident that occurred late last night at Adda Mandiala on the Hoshiarpur–Jalandhar road. The accident took place when an LPG gas tanker collided with another vehicle, leading to a massive fire.
Lali Bajwa said that those who have been seriously injured in this mishap must receive proper medical treatment without any shortcomings, and it is the responsibility of the present AAP government to ensure this. He assured that Akali Dal leaders and workers will provide every possible assistance to the affected families.
He further stressed that the government should also pay attention to the treatment of victims admitted to private hospitals. Criticizing the state machinery, he said that after the accident, the government system completely failed to ensure the timely shifting of the injured to hospitals — something from which the AAP government must learn a lesson.
