Hoshiarpur invites applications for Urdu

Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/Dec.16 : Following directives from the Director of the Punjab Language Department, Urdu teacher (Urdu Aamoz) classes will commence at the District Language Office, Hoshiarpur, from January 1, 2026.In-charge Officer Dr. Jaswant Rai provided detailed information, emphasizing that Urdu is an extremely beloved language. Learning Urdu is essential for gaining comprehensive knowledge of Punjabi language and literature. Even though all Punjabi literature in western Punjab is composed in the Shahmukhi script, students there are also taught the Gurmukhi script alongside it. Knowledge of both scripts is crucial for the exchange of literature.Highly qualified PhD Urdu instructors are available at the Language Department office in Hoshiarpur for Urdu language education. The six-month full course fee is just ₹500. Upon completion, the Punjab Language Department conducts an exam, and successful students receive certificates from the department.Students of any age group can enroll in this course.
