Hoshiarpur/August 15/Daljeet Ajnoha : The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervor at STC Khadakan Camp, Hoshiarpur. The ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Shri Charudhvaj Agrawal, Inspector General of Police, Assistant Training Centre, Khadak Camp, who hoisted the national flag at the Shaheed Satpal Chaudhary Parade Ground at 8:00 am.
During the flag-hoisting ceremony, the tricolor was honored with a national salute. The program was attended by all officials, subordinate officers, jawans, trainees, and their families, including women, men, and children, who participated with great zeal and enthusiasm.
Addressing the parade, Chief Guest Shri Charudhvaj Agrawal, Inspector General of Police, extended his greetings to all personnel and their families on the occasion of Independence Day. He emphasized the significance of Independence Day and the responsibility of every citizen to uphold the values of freedom and unity.
The Chief Guest also paid tribute to the sacrifices made by freedom fighters and raised awareness about the importance of environmental conservation, cleanliness, water conservation, and national progress and security. The entire parade resonated with a sense of pride and patriotism, symbolizing a successful Independence Day celebration.
