Khalsa College Mahilpur Hosts Tech

Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha:  Oct.5 :  The Post Graduate Department of Computer Science and IT at Shri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College, Mahilpur, organized a vibrant technical festival titled Giga Grid to inspire creativity and innovation among students. The event drew enthusiastic participation from students across several regional colleges, who showcased their technical prowess and bagged top honors.Presiding over the ceremony as chief guests were Dr. Amandeep Kaur, Principal of Khalsa College Garhshankar; Arun Kumar Bhardwaj, Manager of SBI Mahilpur branch; and Rekha Jugra, Manager of HDFC Mahilpur branch. Principal Dr. Parvinder Singh delivered the inaugural address, encouraging students to engage actively in such dynamic learning experiences.The festival featured a range of competitions, including Tech Talk, Ad-Mad Show, Logic Whirlpool, Net Sebi, Web Portal Development, CPU Assembling, and Logo Designing, each testing creativity, logic, and innovation.Participants from Khalsa College Mahilpur, SPN College Mukerian, Khalsa College Garhshankar, SD College Hoshiarpur, and SHSM College for Women Chela Mukhsuspur took part and received accolades for their outstanding performances.Head of the Computer Department, Prof. Gurpreet Kaur, highlighted the department’s ongoing initiatives and extended a heartfelt vote of thanks to the guests and participants. Faculty members Manpreet Singh, Deepti Verma, Neha, Nandika, Varinder Singh, Gurjot Kaur, Rajwinder Kaur, Harvinder Kaur, Shweta, Harjot Kaur, and technical assistant Sarbjit Singh were present, ensuring the event’s success with the support of numerous students.
