Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/July 1 :  Lamrin Tech Skills University (LTSU), Punjab, and Chandigarh Management Association (CMA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen industry-academia collaboration and create enhanced learning and career opportunities for students. The MoU was signed by Prof. (Dr.) B. S. Satyal, Pro Vice Chancellor, Lamrin Tech Skills University, and Mr. Abhishek Gupta, President, Chandigarh Management Association, in the presence of senior officials from both organizations.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Jatinderpal Singh Sehdev, Vice President; Dr. Navjot Kaur, Honorary General Secretary-cum-CEO; Mr. Sukhwinder Singh Bhatia, Joint Secretary; and Cdr. Jagmohan Bhogal, Treasurer from Chandigarh Management Association. Representing Lamrin Tech Skills University were Mr. Vimal Roy Manhotra, CEO; Dr. Ashutosh Sharma, Executive Dean, University School of Commerce and Management; and Dr. Labh Singh, Professor of Practice, University School of Commerce and Management.
The partnership aims to provide MBA, BBA, and B.Com students with greater access to internships, placement support, industry mentoring, professional networking, leadership development programmes, and career guidance initiatives. It will also facilitate the organization of guest lectures, seminars, workshops, management conclaves, faculty development programmes, entrepreneurship awareness programmes, and corporate interaction sessions.
The collaboration further focuses on promoting research, innovation, case study development, industry surveys, and knowledge-sharing activities that will help bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements. Through this association, students and faculty members will benefit from meaningful interactions with industry leaders and management professionals.
Speaking on the occasion, representatives from both institutions expressed confidence that the partnership would contribute significantly to enhancing employability, professional competencies, and industry readiness among students. The MoU, valid for a period of five years, reflects the shared commitment of LTSU and CMA towards academic excellence, skill development, and collaborative growth.
