Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/March 17 : Lions Club Greater Dasuya successfully organized a Free Mega Medical Camp at Baba Barfani Langar Hall, Dasuya, benefiting hundreds of people. Expert doctors provided free medical consultations and medicines to the attendees.
The event was graced by Lion Rachhpal Singh Bachhajiwi, District Governor of Lions Club 321D, as the chief guest. He appreciated the organizing team and medical professionals for their commendable contribution to society.
Lion Dr. R.K. Nayar (President, Lions Club Greater Dasuya) expressed gratitude to the medical team for making the camp a success. Lion Ravinder Sharma (Secretary) highlighted the significance of such free health camps, while Lion Rajan Ralhan (Project Chairman) thanked the organizing team, supporters, and participants. Sanjeev Kumar (Project Coordinator) extended his gratitude to the medical faculty and Lions Club Greater Dasuya for their dedication to community service.
Dr. Sarju Ralhan (MCh, Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgeon, Hero DMC) praised the Lions Club for its commitment to public service.
Dr. Anubhav Sharma (Orthopedic Specialist) emphasized the importance of early diagnosis and preventive treatments.
Dr. Sameer Kapoor (Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgeon) recommended effective health strategies and encouraged organizing more such camps in rural areas.
During the camp, participants received free health checkups, medicines, ECG tests, blood sugar and blood pressure screenings, bone density tests, and lifestyle counseling. The medical team included Dr. S.P. Singh (SMO, Mand Pandher), Dr. Arju Ralhan (Gynecologist, Civil Hospital Ajnala), Dr. Hitesh Marwaha, and Dr. Varun Nayar.
The event was also attended by Lion Amrik Singh Gaggi (President, Vyapar Mandal Dasuya) and his team, Vinod Ralhan and his team from the Ralhan community, and the Chemist Association Dasuya, who welcomed the esteemed doctors.
Several prominent personalities graced the occasion, including Dr. Lion Surinder Singh Basra, Lion K.S. Puri, Shri Arun Sharma (renowned industrialist from Ludhiana), Mukesh Ranjan (MD, MRC Group), Vijay Sharma (MD, Vijay Mall, Dasuya), Amolak Hundal (BJP leader), and Omkar Ralhan.
