Hoshiarpur/June 18/Daljeet Ajnoha : In an exclusive interaction with senior journalist Sh. Sanjeev Kumar, Sh. Rajesh Balsotra, General Manager of the Hoshiarpur Milk Plant, lauded the exceptional progress and transformation taking place in Milkfed Punjab. He attributed this remarkable growth to the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Punjab, Sh. Bhagwant Mann, and the dynamic guidance of Sh. Rahul Gupta, IAS, Managing Director of Milkfed Punjab.
Sh. Balsotra emphasized that Milkfed Punjab, under the able leadership of CM Bhagwant Mann, has been working relentlessly to strengthen cooperative institutions and uplift the farming community. He added that with Sh. Rahul Gupta’s result-oriented administration, the organization has scaled new heights in dairy processing, farmer empowerment, and customer satisfaction.
He shared that the Hoshiarpur Milk Plant, a key unit under Milkfed Punjab, is actively procuring fresh milk from local farmers daily. The milk is then processed using modern technology to ensure hygiene, quality, and nutritional value.
“We proudly offer a wide range of dairy products including pure milk, creamy dahi (curd), high-quality butter, delicious kheer, and traditional sweets. Each product is processed with utmost care and precision,” said Balsotra. “This level of quality and efficiency has been made possible due to the forward-thinking vision of our Managing Director, Sh. Rahul Gupta, and the overall policy support provided by the state leadership.”
He also noted that Milkfed Punjab is deeply committed to the welfare of dairy farmers. Regular training workshops and awareness camps are held in villages to educate farmers on cattle care, balanced nutrition, improved breeding techniques, and sustainable dairy farming.
“These initiatives not only enhance milk productivity but also strengthen the economic backbone of rural Punjab,” he added. “Milkfed’s cooperative model under the guidance of Sh. Rahul Gupta and the policy vision of CM Bhagwant Mann is creating a win-win situation for both farmers and consumers.”
