Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/April 10 : Giving new impetus to the development of the city, MLA Bram Shankar Jimpa formally started the construction work of various streets in ward number 47. On this occasion, he said that keeping in mind the convenience of the people, this construction work is being done by the Municipal Corporation, so that the residents of the area do not face any kind of problem in commuting.
MLA Jimpa gave clear instructions to the Municipal Corporation officials present on the spot that there should be no compromise on quality in the construction work. He said that the priority of the government is to provide basic facilities to the common people on time and in better quality.
The MLA further said that serious efforts are being made to solve the problems told to him from time to time by the people of the ward. He assured that other problems of the area will also be resolved soon and no inconvenience will be caused to the citizens.
On this occasion, Hoshiarpur Municipal Corporation Mayor Surinder Kumar, Senior Deputy Mayor Praveen Saini, Deputy Mayor Ranjit Chaudhary, Ward Councillors Vimala Devi, Neelam Walia along with other dignitaries and local residents were also present in large numbers.
