MLA Jimpa Inaugurates ₹20-Lakh Development

Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha /Oct 10 :  MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa today inaugurated development works worth ₹20 lakh at an Anganwadi Centre located in the Government Primary School of Ward No. 13, Sundar Nagar. The projects have been funded under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of Vardhman Yarns and Threads Limited.Speaking at the event, Jimpa praised the industry’s efforts toward social responsibility, calling them commendable. He noted that the Vardhman Group has played a significant role in strengthening local infrastructure related to education and child development. Jimpa remarked that such partnerships inspire positive changes in society.The MLA also stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab government has been prioritising development projects. Expressing gratitude to Vardhman’s management, he said such contributions ensure that public welfare initiatives are implemented more effectively on the ground. Jimpa urged the attendees to understand the role of Anganwadi Centres in children’s overall development and to actively participate in their upkeep.The event was attended by Mayor Surinder Kumar, Senior Deputy Mayor Praveen Saini, Vardhman Yarns and Threads Limited Director Tarun Chawla, Mr. Dudwal, Councillor Chandrawati, and Comrade Ganga Prasad, among other notable figures.
