Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/July 12 : In an effort to protect the environment from pollution and keep it clean, the chief sevadar of the historic Darbar Zahira Peer Ji in village Dara Pur, district Hoshiarpur, Baba Balwant Shah emphasized the importance of planting more trees.
Various types of saplings were donated to the Darbar by Parminder Singh Haluwal for plantation. On the occasion, Baba Balwant Shah highlighted that the Forest Department provides certain types of saplings for planting in public spaces and also offers plants for religious places that have available land.
In continuation of this initiative, Baba Balwant Shah received different varieties of saplings for planting at Darbar Zahira Peer Ji. He stressed that planting trees not only helps maintain environmental cleanliness but also provides protection from natural calamities, thus ensuring the safety of human life.
Other sevadars present at the Darbar also pledged to take proper care of the newly planted trees and contribute to environmental protection.
